100% Affordable Multi-family Residential
Redevelopment Study, Redevelopment Plan and Site Plan Review, Affordable Housing
Rairtan Township, Hunterdon County, Governing Body and Planning Board
The goal of the project was to allow for the development of a 100-unit, multi-family, 100% affordable housing development for families in Raritan Township as part of the Township’s Round 3 Affordable Housing Settlement.
The project included a redevelopment study of a 7.7 acre dilapidated residential site along Junction Road in Raritan Township.
A redevelopment plan was prepared for the site permitting up to 100 units on the site in garden style apartments geared towards families with additional 3-bedroom units and recreation areas.
From designation as an area in need of redevelopment to site plan approval, JCA and the Township had four months to complete the process in order to meet tax credit program deadlines. JCA was able to complete the study, plan and site plan review in the timeframes required. The project was awarded funding at the end of 2019 and is now constructed.
We specialize in small to mid-sized municipalties and we’d love to help.
