Vernon Township has been developing a vision for a “greenway” since the 1990s. The Township has over 80 miles of public and private trails, that would benefit from greater connectivity. Likewise, the Township has a vision to create a Town Center Trail to connect the center of the town to its resort areas and beyond.
Using a comprehensive and data-driven approach, the Regional Greenway Trail Feasibility Study identifies potential routes to connect the Vernon Town Center to the rest of the Township’s vast natural, scenic, and cultural resources.
